Haul! NYX cosmetics + Eyes.Lips.Face products + MODELS OWN and quick reviews

Hi everyone! It's been almost a month since my last haul. Actually I love sharing hauls and I also love watching vlogs or reading blogs about it.  It is sort of sharing stuffs that you have or bought or maybe sponsored  and WHY NOT?  Actually some people think that you’re just bragging what you have but it’s actually fun and it gives idea to other makeup junkies out there why and what to purchase. So I’m going to share now my recent haul from NYX cosmetics , some E.L.F products that I purchased this week and I’m going to have some quick reviews about them and some MODELS OWN UK products.

So last Sunday, after mass I went shopping for my lil bubba, I bought him a pillow set, comforters, blankets and other stuffs that he needs. After buying stuffs for my son I dropped by at Watson and e.l.f has this "discount" in all items they have. I actually saw the promo in their website. They  have this 40% discount promo but I think it is only running at target.com. I didn’t want to miss it since everything was on sale I grabbed some new babies to play with. I have this elf studio duo bronzer blush and elf studio cream eyeliner in black.

This is one of the elf’s “must buy” product. I’ve been looking for this over a month ago. I guess? All drugstores or elf store that I visited, they have this sold out. Luckily, I already have it. Yey!

Packaging: I was really impressed with the packaging. It was totally cool. I love the full mirror in it. And a lot of people say that this is the great dupe for NARS laguna and orgasm duo compact and I agree with them. They both have the same packaging. However the elf one is a lot more “purse friendly” compare to NARS of course. 

Pigmentation: It's very well pigmented but not so pigmented compare to NARS. I love the shimmer in the blush and I love the satin matte bronzer finish it has and it was great for contouring your cheek bones. 
Over all, I have nothing against this product. I’m happy with it and with its price it's totally worth it. Oh I bought this for only P249.00 but in ulta.com they sell this one for only $3. Imagine how cheap it is in states? Golly.

E.L.F Cream Eyeliner in Black

I was really thinking if I’m going to try this cream eyeliner because I’ve been thinking of purchasing the Maybeline lasting drama gel but since elf has this sale, it’s the main reason why I've come up buying this one. I never used a gel liner or any cream eyeliner before because what I’ve been using is the L’Oreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense felt tip eyeliner. But with the hype of gel liner now a days, I wanted to try new things though.


Packaging: It comes with an angled brush that is prefect for applying cream eyeliner. It is in a crystal square pot which I find it cute and unique.

Pigmentation: Well surprisingly, I expect that this cream eyeliner is not that pigmented or not that “blackest black” eyeliner but definitely I'm wrong. It’s so black. Well I haven't tried using this since I just bought it last Sunday. I don’t know if it's really long lasting and if it doesn't smudge on your lids. So I will do an updated review once I tried using this one. 

But the thing here is, when I swatched the cream eyeliner, it is waterproof. I washed my hand a lot of times and the cream eyeliner was still there so I have to use my makeup remover to remove the eyeliner. Pretty awesome for the waterproof side.

I ordered 3 batches of NYX products online and I’m so happy that the first one just arrived today. I think the 2nd batch will arrived next week and the 3rd batch will arrived 1st week of November. Well, its all worth waiting for.  So for the 1st batch, I have 2 jumbo eyeshadow pencil in gold and milk, 2 round lippies in circe and fig, 2 slim lip pencil in pinky and rose.

What I can say about the cheek and lip tint, uh,  I actually expect a little “big” tube/bottled glass packaging because it is a bit expensive for a cheek tint. But well, since it’s a UK product what else can you expect. I love the smell of the tint plus the fact that it is blendable and has a gorgeous finish on your face. It has the same packaging with the BENETINT. About the lipstick, I love the packaging, pigmentation is awesome, it is so creamy that it tends to melt inside the box when I received the package from the mail man.  I got the lippie for FREE from Naturele Collezione, it is my winning prize for their fan sign contest. Pretty awesome lippie! Thanks Sarah love!

• Revlon Colorstay Foundation Makeup with softlex for normal dry skin

Ratings: 4/5

-I've been using this foundation and my shade is 150 buff. What I like about this product is, it gives medium to full coverage makeup. It really hides those blemishes you have, all the acne scars, discoloration in your face or any breakouts you have. This foundation is totally great. I don’t feel its “heaviness” wearing it. Plus this product is affordable compare to high end foundations that has the same finish or coverage. I highly recommend this foundation. What I don’t like about this product is the packaging itself, it could be more nice if it comes in a tube or it has a pump. With this kind of packaging, glass bottled foundation, you will definitely have a chance to waste an amount of your foundation. 

Will I re-purchase? YES. (actually I’ve just bought my 2nd bottle last 2 weeks because I run out of it)

• E.L.F Eyelid Primer in sheer
  
  
  -Primers are definitely must haves! So I’m using my e.l.f eyelid primer. It makes my eyeshadow last longer, it also makes the colors pop and I use primers to avoid the eyeshadow or my eyeliner from creasing on my lid. This is helpful to those who has oily lids. This primer doesn't cake or crease. Not bad for a hundred and thirty (130php) pesos primer. I can definitely say that e.l.f eyelid primer has also the same finish with the highly raved urban decay primer potion.   They only differ in the price. I seldom use my UD eye potion because it is pricey (Php 1200). I just use it for special occasions but for ordinary days I use my elf primer.
  
  Will I re-purchase? YES (This is the first time I actually try this primer and I can see myself purchasing it again because it works well plus it is cheap.)

• Maybeline Volume Express Colossal Mascara in Glam black

                - For drugstore mascara. Im currently using this one. This mascara has a lot of shade, they also have the classic black and brown. What am I using is the colossal mascarra in glam black. I’m using before the covergirl lash blast in luxe and a friend told me that the colossal works well too. So I try this one and read some great reviews about it. So, my side with this mascarra, it is true that it is volumizing but it doesn’t give the “full lengthning thingy” that I wanted. I have short lashes so I wanted a mascara that would make them longer. But still I recommend this product because  it holds  the curls of your lashes, it gives volume and has the blackest black lashes effect, no clumps, no spider lashes. About the packaging, it is a yellow tube with great lash brittles that gives the full volume. You will not have a hard time looking for this mascara inside your bag because it's color yellow (Does it makes sense? Lol!)

Will I re-purchase? YES (actually its a toss between Covergirl Lash Blast Luxe or Maybeline colossal mascara)

• L’Oreal  Carbon Black Lineur Intense

-It is a felt tip eyeliner and it is the only eyeliner that I’m using because I believe it is the best eyeliner for it’s value. I love this product because it is felt tip. Application is easy, smooth and malleable. It has a long cap for you to hold the liner. Actually I love everything about this product, the color, packaging and it’s awesome price.



Will I re-purchase? YES. (as i’ve said, it is the only liquid eyeliner that I’m currently using and I’m inlove with it.)

• NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils
  
  -Aside from the very cute packaging that I love, it works great as a base for your eyeshadows and it really helps the colors to pop out or brighten them. I only have four shades of this jumbo pencils. I have the 03 in pots and pans, 04 in milk, 12 in gold, and 20 in bronze.
  
  Will I re-purchase? YES. (I want to try other colors.)

Young at age, but a Mom at heart.

"Being a young mom means I met you a little early, but I get to love you longer. Some people said life ended when I had a baby, my life had just begun. You didn't take away my future, you gave me a new one. ♥ A mother in 35 weeks at 20 ♥ "

It’s my 35th week of being pregnant. Having my dear bubba inside me feels nothing but  a “true happiness”. I’m not ashamed having him this early because he makes me feel happy and totally blessed.  The day I found out that I'm going to be mom soon, well of course it freaks me out but on the other side “God planned this for me, I should face this and be responsible. Everything has its own reason so there’s nothing to be sad or disappointed about.” 

I’m not really prepared and I don't know how am I going to raise my son, (Yes, he is a boy that’s why his daddy is so excited.) But there’s one thing I know, being a parent doesn't  necessarily mean your life just ended in fact it’s just the beginning. Yes I’m only 20 but I could be the best and hot momma in town baby! ;) I still can pursue my dreams, I can still continue my careers and the plans that I wanted to do. And my family will be my inspirations. Maybe this blessing will give us more meaning on how to live our life, to be more focused, disciplined and responsible enough.  It will really changed your life though, the decisions you have to make,  your actions toward others, but it will not take out “the happiness” you have before, the time when you’re living a teenage life.

Francis Daniele Gray B. Santos.  That will be his name. Probably we will call him "Danie" or "Anchis" for short. But his Daddy wants to call him "Gray". 

Daniele’s a blessing. I love him more than anything else.  I now realized how does it feels being a mother. Nothing can beat a mother’s love. She will be always there erasing our mistakes, forgiving us, protecting us and loving us. Just like my mother does. I’m so thankful to have her and I promise to my son that I will try to be the best mom for him. Mother’s are like erasers, cleaning up our mistakes and getting smaller every time we commit one. But still, she’s always there for us. I’m really proud of myself because I know now how to think in a mature way, how to start appreciating things in life and the people around me. 

November is fast approaching. I’m really excited  and a bit nervous to see my boy.  He is the best gift for  Christmas  and it will be a great start being a mom for  the next year.

Preparing his things makes me smile. Actually, I already have all of the stuff he needs (because we're sooo excited)except for one thing, his comforter and pillow set, my hubby and I will definitely buy it next week after my check up. We gotta prepare them all before Daniele’s home coming.

Here are SOME of Danie's stuff. I really meant SOME. He has a lot of clothes to wear that's why we cancel the plan of having a baby shower for him. They say pregnancy is a bit boring. Because you cannot do  the usual things you do before. But it's actually not. In fact, If I tend to get bored, I always fix Daniele's clothes. Wash them, iron them, organize them, etc. etc. It's a bit exciting though. It actually depends if you want to get bored or not. Some preggo's are usually lazy but not me. ;)

Isn't it fun to shop for your little ho-ho? I love fixing his things. Specially his very cute clothes.
