Sunday, October 23 2011, 3pm. It was a bright and sunny day. A perfect day to celebrate my baby shower.  To welcome my dearest “FRANCIS DANIELE”. Excited to see my little ho-ho. Through this party i was able to see how time flies. A bit nervous for the labor pain but sooooooooooo excited to see and carry him and I know all the pain will be worth it in the end.

I’d like to thank the people behind this event. For making this possible to happen. My mom, Mama Anita, who cooked for me, My mom-in-law, Mama Lily, who organized everything and my sister-in-law, Ate Bing, for sharing her expertise in cooking. I'd also like to thank my family who came and to my husband’s relatives who shared this moment with us and of course to my dear friends. Again Thank you guys! 

Never had a baby shower before (of course it’s my first baby) and I can say  t’was an awesome experience!  Though not everyone came to celebrate with us but still I had fun. I had fun chitchatting with my friends. We love to prattle! LOL! It’s actually a long time since the last time we met.  Well to tell you honestly, I’m a bit disappointed in the end of the day because “SOME” people are so annoying that day. I don’t like my day to be ruined though. Perhaps, it should be a special day because it's for my baby Daniele, not for me, not for anybody but for my dear son. GOOD VIBES!

Anyways, for you guys to know what did just happened that day. Well everyone enjoyed the delicious pica-pica foods we've prepared. We have everybody’s all time favorite spaghetti with chicken lollipops, ham and cheese sandwich, Amber’s best seller pichi-pichi and palabok, shanghai rolls, BIKO (a sticky rice cake topped with latik (curdled coconut cream), hotdog and cheese on stick, refreshing GULAMAN and some snacks. Yummmyy Merienda!!!  My brother also bought me a Black Forest Cake with Cathedral Gelatin. Thanks for the yummy treat brotha! Well it’s actually not for me, it’s for Daniele but since he can’t eat that, I am willing to do the favor for him. ;) (Laughs!)

Kidding aside, We’re supposed to have games that day. Ate Anne and Ate Ellen prepared some to make the party exciting but unfortunately, sad to say, we don’t have the chance to do it. I will not mention here why. It will just make me mad and sad at the same time. Grrrrr!

They even checked the net for the baby shower games  :( *sigh

Just like the usual baby shower party, we also have “open the gifts” aught. I loooooove opening the gifts it was really exciting and fun! Who doesn't like that right? Thanks for the awesome gifts everyone and for the cold cash. hihihi! Daniele’s such a rich and spoiled bubba now! LOL! *wink

Thank you everyone. You guys don't know how happy and glad I am that day. I can see how excited everyone is and so am I. Now, I’m just waiting for him. Enjoying the last month having him inside me. Just a few more weeks or days “Hello baby and goodbye sleep!” (Laughs)

The moment he arrived, it’ll be a new story being a mom for me.

Young at age, but a Mom at heart.

"Being a young mom means I met you a little early, but I get to love you longer. Some people said life ended when I had a baby, my life had just begun. You didn't take away my future, you gave me a new one. ♥ A mother in 35 weeks at 20 ♥ "

It’s my 35th week of being pregnant. Having my dear bubba inside me feels nothing but  a “true happiness”. I’m not ashamed having him this early because he makes me feel happy and totally blessed.  The day I found out that I'm going to be mom soon, well of course it freaks me out but on the other side “God planned this for me, I should face this and be responsible. Everything has its own reason so there’s nothing to be sad or disappointed about.” 

I’m not really prepared and I don't know how am I going to raise my son, (Yes, he is a boy that’s why his daddy is so excited.) But there’s one thing I know, being a parent doesn't  necessarily mean your life just ended in fact it’s just the beginning. Yes I’m only 20 but I could be the best and hot momma in town baby! ;) I still can pursue my dreams, I can still continue my careers and the plans that I wanted to do. And my family will be my inspirations. Maybe this blessing will give us more meaning on how to live our life, to be more focused, disciplined and responsible enough.  It will really changed your life though, the decisions you have to make,  your actions toward others, but it will not take out “the happiness” you have before, the time when you’re living a teenage life.

Francis Daniele Gray B. Santos.  That will be his name. Probably we will call him "Danie" or "Anchis" for short. But his Daddy wants to call him "Gray". 

Daniele’s a blessing. I love him more than anything else.  I now realized how does it feels being a mother. Nothing can beat a mother’s love. She will be always there erasing our mistakes, forgiving us, protecting us and loving us. Just like my mother does. I’m so thankful to have her and I promise to my son that I will try to be the best mom for him. Mother’s are like erasers, cleaning up our mistakes and getting smaller every time we commit one. But still, she’s always there for us. I’m really proud of myself because I know now how to think in a mature way, how to start appreciating things in life and the people around me. 

November is fast approaching. I’m really excited  and a bit nervous to see my boy.  He is the best gift for  Christmas  and it will be a great start being a mom for  the next year.

Preparing his things makes me smile. Actually, I already have all of the stuff he needs (because we're sooo excited)except for one thing, his comforter and pillow set, my hubby and I will definitely buy it next week after my check up. We gotta prepare them all before Daniele’s home coming.

Here are SOME of Danie's stuff. I really meant SOME. He has a lot of clothes to wear that's why we cancel the plan of having a baby shower for him. They say pregnancy is a bit boring. Because you cannot do  the usual things you do before. But it's actually not. In fact, If I tend to get bored, I always fix Daniele's clothes. Wash them, iron them, organize them, etc. etc. It's a bit exciting though. It actually depends if you want to get bored or not. Some preggo's are usually lazy but not me. ;)

Isn't it fun to shop for your little ho-ho? I love fixing his things. Specially his very cute clothes.

I WON. HOOORAAAYY!

I’m really hooked up with Facebook. Staying online 24/7 and do nothing. Shop online, chat, gossip, sneaking. Well now, I found a great way to spend my day over Facebook and that is to join ONLINE GIVEAWAY CONTEST. At first, I was really wondering “Was that real?” “What if I won? How can I get my prize? etc. etc.”  Well, there’s nothing wrong in trying. So I did. 

I’ve joined a lot of contest in Facebook and gladly I won some entries. (PREGGO luck huh?) The first time I won was with La Bella Vita Shop, They have this contest about “What is education for you?” The mechanics was about to have it liked by your friends and  the entry with most likes will win the prize. I’m so happy when I woke up having this message in my wall. Though I didn’t win the grand prize which is a Tommy Hilfiger bag, still I got a fabulous floral top from them. YAY!

Another contest that I’ve joined was with Naturele Collezione, a stupendous shop where I used to buy some of my make ups. You guys definitely want to visit Sarah’s online shop. Anyways I’ve joined her 1st anniversary Fan Sign contest and Smokey Eye Look contest. Gladly, I won.

Another package from La Bella Vita arrived Sept 25 (Sunday) a floral halter top(isn’t it cute?) and package from Naturele Collezione Sept 29 (Thursday) BH 28 ColorsPalette Neutral eyeshadow. Still waiting for my other prize from NC for the fan sign but the prize hasn’t arrived yet and my orders too. These new babies makes me feel so happppppppppppy!  I will definitely give a review about the BH palette soon.
